In a week of birthdays – Henry’s, then daddy’s – today it was his childminder’s birthday!
Henry had breakfast and had a crawl around before going on the school run. However, once they got back, he was really quite upset and wouldn’t settle until he went to sleep. Once he woke up, he was much happier and played with blocks before lunch. Later on, they had wooden toys, an abacus, a rainbow puzzle and some cars out. Henry was very vocal all day. He watched his childminder open her presents and fell asleep.
Henry and daddy had lots of fun before our tea – Henry had baked beans on toast and made so much mess that he needed an emergency bath. After that, we played some more with his musical toys before milk and bed. He took a little while to settle into bed, however.
