Auntie Emma came round this morning and so we went on a trip out together! We went to The Hepworth in Wakefield. Henry squealed at some of the sculptures and enjoyed looking at some books about shapes. We had lunch at the cafe and then came home after a short playtime in the playground on a swing. He tried a roundabout for the first time, sitting well with mummy holding him. Two girls made sure the roundabout wasn’t going too fast either – they quickly speeded it up once Henry got off!
Later on was something very exciting! Henry put on his special party clothes to go to his first ever birthday party! It was our good friends’ daughter’s 7th birthday. We went to The Rainbow Factory in Farsley for a Worst Witch themed party. Henry’s favourite bit was the bubble machine at the end.
Henry has been clapping lots this afternoon too. Mummy thought he’d clapped yesterday, but he was definitely clapping and laughing, looking very pleased with himself.
After another busy day, Henry went to bed and fell fast asleep.
