Herny had an unsettled night, waking up a couple of times in a grumpy mood. He had his pre-one-year-old check up this morning, so mummy and daddy were both starting work a little later than usual anyway. However, Henry wasn’t well at all just before going to the appointment, so daddy ended up staying at home with him all day.
We had plenty of fun playing with his clacky froggy – Henry loved waving it in the air and making lots of noise with it. It almost, but not quite, matched the noise level of the workmen currently in the house.
After a decent nap, Henry woke for his lunch and we played more together while watching a few of his favourite TV shows (Alphablocks and Numberblocks went down particularly well today). Henry had another long nap before mummy arrived home from work.
In the evening, mummy made tea, had some lovely cuddles and Henry settled well before his bedtime milk and bed.
