Henry settled straight away at his childminder’s and they had breakfast together. Henry played with an abacus for ages, pushing all the beads over for her to push them back. They have put new batteries in all the activity toys, so there was lots of noise this morning.
They played in the garden with balls and in the swing before lunch. Afterwards, he had a little nap, before returning to the abacus, singing some action songs and playing with different sized and textured balls.
In the evening, Henry read a book and was very noisy with his trumpet for a long time! He enjoyed playing with his stacking cups too. We rang Grandpa Eric for a chat to see how he was doing before going for a walk to check a couple of our geocaches nearby. Henry waved to 6 neighbours on the way back up the street towards home – he was like a little celebrity with his adoring public!
Clearly though, celebrity status changed him – he took a long time to settle and it was nearly 9 pm before he went to sleep.
