Straight after breakfast, we got in the car and set off to Saltaire to have a walk and hopefully find some geocaches. Henry was not happy about being in his pram, but as we were walking by the side of the canal, it was for the best! He fell asleep after about 30 minutes and missed finding most of the twelve caches! He woke up feeling hungry, so we stopped for lunch and he got a chance to stretch his legs in the park. Lots of people said hello to him as he walked past them and he gave lots of smiles. He sat on an alpaca statue and thought it was very funny. After some more canalside fun looking at the ducks and geese it was time to come home.
We didn’t stay in for long though as we popped to see Grandpa David at his friend’s farm. Grandpa showed Henry a cow and her new calf, he made friends with the farm dogs, sat on Grandpa’s knee in the tractor and even got to stroke a horse and sit on its back! It was all very exciting!
He was very tired by bedtime and fell asleep straight away.
