This morning Henry woke early which didn’t impress mummy and daddy! We got up and after breakfast, we went to look for some more of the scarecrows in Birkenshaw. We had a lovely, if a little hot walk round and even bumped into one of Henry’s friends from the library! After a brief stop off at home, we visited The Ribbon Tree for lunch. Sarah was very pleased to see Henry and he enjoyed his ham sandwich and butterfly bun. When we got home Henry was tired so had a nap. When he woke up, daddy blew his paddling pool up for some splashy fun in the garden. It wasn’t too sunny by this time, which was good and Henry enjoyed soaking mummy by pouring water all over her! After tea, Henry enjoyed a walk to the park, collecting two small sticks to add to his collection and pointing at a bus driving past.
