This morning we visited The Tropical Butterfly House in Sheffield. It was Henry’s first visit there and he certainly enjoyed himself! He fed goats, chickens, wallabies, porcupines, ducks and otters. He really liked the tropical house where we saw butterflies, frogs, bats, terrapins, fish, insects and birds. He wasn’t even scared when he saw two caiman! He did lots of walking around and did get a bit tired and grumpy towards the end of our visit – he was asleep within minutes of getting in the car to come home.
Back home he had fun playing with his jigsaws and sticklebricks, mainly taking apart mummy’s fabulous creations. We had a video call with Auntie Emma so he could tell her all about the animals he had seen. Henry showed off his knowledge of body part names by pointing to his head, ears, nose, mouth, arms and toes when asked! Auntie Emma and Uncle Jon gave him a big clap!
