Well, Henry did not sleep well last night! He must have been having some bad dreams as he was crying and screaming in his sleep. In the end, mummy cuddled him whilst he slept which worked a treat, for him at least! When we eventually got up and had breakfast, we decided to go and find a few local caches in Brighouse. We had a lovely little walk around, ending up at Brighouse Canal Basin. Henry was very pleased to see the canal boats. He fell asleep in the car on the way home, so missed out on lunchtime again! When he woke up he had a picnic on the rug and spent ages playing. We popped to drop off a birthday present at a friend’s house, but couldn’t stay long as it was cold standing outside. Henry did manage to bring home a toy trumpet that the birthday girl had grown out of. He wouldn’t let go of it back at home and was very upset that he wasn’t allowed to take it to bed.
