Friday, 27th November 2020: Ninety-six weeks old

After breakfast with Grandpa David, we took some chocolate buns to our neighbours before setting off to Nostell Priory. Henry had great fun throwing and kicking leaves in Joiners Wood. He found a couple of sticks that were suitable for his collection, so he popped them in the pram! After a couple of tiny tantrums about whether he was allowed to sit in a cow pat or go in the lake, he soon came round and walked up the field path to the obelisk. We stopped halfway up for our picnic, which gave him the energy to walk all the way back to the courtyard – 3.88km! He made friends with lots of people who told him how cute he was and what a good little walker he was! He was very tired and was asleep by the time we drove out of the car park!

After tea, mummy popped to the shop and when she got back, daddy and Henry were snuggled under a blanket watching brass band music on the TV!
