Henry woke early which wasn’t a surprise! He settled in mummy and daddy’s bed for a while then we got up. Mummy went shopping leaving daddy and Henry to go to the park. They didn’t get very far though as Henry slipped and fell, busting his lip. He wasn’t happy and it took a while for it to stop bleeding. When mummy got home, a very sad-looking Henry was asleep on daddy. He cheered up over lunch and his little accident didn’t stop him climbing all over us and the furniture. He did say “no” to a trip to the park later on though.
Mummy and Henry did some building blocks, trying to balance the cubes – we managed to get to 9 before they fell! We made two cars from stickle bricks and Henry played for a while with them. Grandpa David surprised us with a visit at teatime – Henry had a huge smile on his face when he saw him!
