Henry has been very adventurous this week, particularly when trying out new playground equipment – sometimes not very successfully! Thankfully, he was never hurt when he fell. He has found a new love for bananas and pears and had so many snacks that he is more or less a snack monster. Funnily enough, his pronunciation of the word ‘snack’ is pretty much spot on.
We have been out for a walk every day as mummy and daddy have been off work this week for half term. Grandpa David has visited us a lot too this week. Harold Park was visited twice as he loved it so much, but Crow Nest Park, Scatcherd Park, Oakwell Hall, Mirfield and East Ardsley reservoir have also been visited.
He made signs for his shop this week, further developing his shop keeper skills – although his customer service still needs polishing. He has helped with household jobs too, enjoying the vacuum so much that he didn’t want it to be turned off.
Tuesday was pancake day and Henry enjoyed them with both lemon and sugar and syrup – guess which one he loved the most! Biscuit decorating didn’t go so well as Henry just wanted to eat the biscuits. When making Bakewells, Henry did indeed bake well. We have also completed some craft activities.
As always, we have listened to a lot of exciting brass band music, but Henry’s visit to Tesco’s toy aisle was probably his most exciting moment, as he ended up being very animated – shouting and pointing at lots of things.
