After our busy day yesterday, we decided to have an indoor day. Henry was very snotty and slept for most of the morning.
In the afternoon, he played with his toys and read a book with daddy.
In the evening, we had band practice. We were a bit unsure about what Henry would be like as there hadn’t been a rehearsal for a month and now he can move about we didn’t know if he’d be happy to sit and be good for 2 hours! Of course, we needn’t have worried! He stayed awake for the whole rehearsal and sang along very nicely.
When we were tidying up, Henry played the glockenspiel. He hit the bars with confidence using 2 beaters. We were all very impressed. He did not want to stop however and had a crying fit when we took the beaters away to come home. Oops!
He stayed awake in the car on the way home then had milk before falling asleep quickly.
