Henry had lots of happy time today, laughing at other children with his childminder. They went to Crow Nest Park where Henry went in a swing and in a laid-down swing. They went to see some ducks which were very entertaining – they kept splashing the water with their tails. The younger group sang Happy Birthday to him at lunchtime as it was the last time he is with them before his birthday. He had a noisy afternoon trying to play with cars with the others. Before being picked up, the older children sang Happy Birthday to him too.
Henry was very vocal during tea in the evening and needed an early bath as he was bright orange from eating lasagne! He went to bed without a fuss and let mummy get on with baking his birthday cake!
