Henry woke up crying at about 4 am, so mummy ended up cuddling him until he fell back asleep. This meant he was quite tired so slept on our way to Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate. He liked looking at the colourful flowers, got grumpy in the shop and had a picnic in the gardens. We also saw 5 squirrels on our way around the garden! There isn’t any suitable playground equipment for Henry’s age group, so we made up for it by sitting on a garden swing. It wasn’t the same as Henry’s usual dare-devil baby swing excitement as he wasn’t fastened in, but he still enjoyed it, especially when mummy sat next to him too.

In the evening, we set up Henry’s new toy! He played with the same table every week at Baby Sensory and absolutely loved it. Mummy thought that because he had been such a brave boy with his chickenpox, he deserved a little treat.
