Henry wanted to make sure mummy didn’t miss any of her birthday and woke up at 3 o’clock. He stayed for quite a long time, finally going back to sleep at 5.

When we got up for the day, Henry helped mummy to open her presents and shared her breakfast. Henry had a nap late morning (what a shock) before his lunch.

In the afternoon, we did some footprint art. Henry was quite co-operative with having his feet painted. Then daddy sang ‘happy birthday’ to mummy – Henry looked very excited when the cake was brought out. He was even more excited when he had a piece in each hand! After lots more playing, teatime and Facetime with both Auntie Emma, Sally and Isobelle, then a virtual band practice chat, it was time for milk and bed!
