Daddy began the day opening his cards and presents for Father’s Day. Henry had made him a hand print monster card which daddy loved. After some fun on the swing and a late lunch, we went for a walk at Shibden Park. Henry had fallen asleep in the car and stayed asleep all the way round,missing the cygnets and ducklings. He woke up in time to taste some ice cream and for the journey home.
After tea, we had a walk up to the postbox to post some cards that Henry had made. He did really well and even posted the letters with only a bit of help. We had a walk on the grass and came back home – Henry led us into the back garden for another go on the swing and then he helped daddy to feed the fish in the pond too. Some of them came up to the top of the water to eat it straight away!
