Henry had a very busy day today! We had a visit from some friends this morning – it rained a bit but that didn’t stop Henry showing his friend how to throw stones in the pond and let her have a turn on his swing. We went to The Ribbon Tree to pick up afternoon tea, then went on a geocaching adventure in Bramhope. Henry had only just woken up, so didn’t want to walk through the woods, so daddy carried him. He found a stick as well as the geocache which he carried all the way back to the car.
After tea, we went out in the garden and for a walk up the street. Henry took his stick with him! When we got back home, he wanted to go back into the garden. He spent a long time washing his stick and splashing in the pond. He got very cross indeed when it was time to go inside. However, Grandpa David came round and cheered him up a little bit before bed.
