Today was Henry’s last day at his childminder’s until September! He made the most of it and had a busy day, having toast for breakfast and helping his childminder take her car to the garage to be serviced. They walked back and Henry was very vocal in the pram. He enjoyed playing with the play food and kitchen and started banging pans together which he found very funny. They sang songs and read books together before lunch and then played with musical toys. He fell asleep on the way to pick the car up again, then woke up when they were back, ready to play with shape sorters and learning some colours.

When mummy and daddy picked Henry up, it was time to give cards and presents to his childminder and her husband as they have looked after him so well all year. Luckily they live very close by so Henry will still be able to see them over the summer. In the garden this evening, Henry was playing with a big football, picking it up and throwing it, before trotting after it and doing it again.
