Today was mummy and daddy’s eighth wedding anniversary. Henry enjoyed watching us open our gifts to each other. For a little trip out, we went to Harlow Carr to explore the gardens there. Henry enjoyed a picnic on a bench with mummy and daddy, but wasn’t really interested in cake, strangely. He had a lovely time on the slide in the playground area and didn’t want to stop – having a little tantrum when it was time to move on, breaking the peace and quiet of the place!
On the way home, we stopped for ice cream but Henry had fallen asleep by then – and didn’t wake up – so he missed out… In the evening, Henry really enjoyed opening and closing our cards, appearing to read the words inside to us. He also played a lot with his squeaking eggs, wearing lots of the caps as hats!
