We were up early today as we had a very busy day with three things planned. We started today by finding lots of geocaches in Chillingham, then went to Heatherslaw Light Railway. Henry was asleep in the car when we arrived and had no idea where we were. He was so excited when we got out of the car and found a carriage to sit in! When we had finished our round trip, we got back in the car and drove across the causeway to The Holy Island of Lindisfarne. We visited The Priory, but Henry was very grumpy and didn’t really enjoy it. We had a walk around part of the island and had an ice cream which cheered him up. For tea we visited The Anchor pub which was just across the road from our cottage in Wooler. It was quite a late tea and Henry was definitely ready for bed by the time we got back.
