Grandpa joined us for breakfast this morning – Henry wanted his breakfast, so they did a swap, even though they had exactly the same thing! Mummy and Henry set off to the Coal Mining Museum. We looked around the exhibits and Henry pressed lots of buttons! We saw the pit ponies, then went to the playground and had a picnic. We called at Charlotte’s ice cream parlour on our way home – Henry charmed the lady who served us!
When we got home, Henry had a long nap, then we delivered some buns to our neighbours. They were pleased to see Henry and gave him a toy car as a present. He was very impressed with it!
Daddy arrived home from work and we went to Nando’s for tea – Henry was very vocal and mainly wanted to eat houmous and pitta bread. It was quite late when we got home so he didn’t want his milk, but did enjoy his bath and a story before going to bed.
