After an early start to the day (thanks to Henry) we set off to Harlow Carr Gardens. Henry was fast asleep when we arrived so we had a quiet wander around and were just getting a cup of tea at Bettys when he woke up! He did lots of walking/running/playing, up and down hills and through a tunnel. He did fall over and graze his hand at one point which he was very upset about. On the way around the gardens, Henry collected lots of leaves, putting them in the base of his pram, along with a few sticks.
When we got home, Henry played with his toys and enjoyed meatballs, pasta and garlic bread for tea. He did lots of dancing whilst watching In The Night Garden, then fed the fish. Henry didn’t want a story tonight, but did go straight to sleep – all the fresh air must have worn him out.
