Friday, 25th September 2020: Twenty months old & eighty-seven weeks old

Grandpa David joined us for our Friday breakfast as usual. After lots of time playing, wearing his watch and being given pennies for his piggy bank, it was time to go out for the day. Henry was asleep when we arrived at Wentworth Garden Centre – mummy got the Family Farm tickets and some animal food and had already had a good look around by the time Henry woke up. We had great fun playing in the sand and water park, feeding animals, pointing at animals and playing on the playground equipment. We had a go on a ride-on tractor which Henry was too scared to go on last time we visited. He loved it this time and kept shouting, ‘Again!’ Mummy wouldn’t put more money in it which meant Henry had a small tantrum, but he was soon happy again when lunch was mentioned. We ended our visit with a bun in the cafe as mummy needed a cup of tea to warm up from the very cold day!

We called at The Range on our way home to get Henry some new art materials – Henry got to push the button in the lift – he did press the alarm button too, but mummy quickly rescued the situation!
