After breakfast with Grandpa David, playing with Playdoh and baking biscuits, mummy and Henry went to Anglers Country Park. We saw some of the Room on the Broom sculptures and Henry splashed in EVERY puddle that we passed! We didn’t get all the way round the lake as it had taken so long to get round a third of it with all the splashing. The playground equipment was all a bit big for Henry which was disappointing and he wasn’t happy about it! He had a nap on the way home and mummy waited in the car for him to wake up.
We attempted to deliver our biscuits to our neighbours but they didn’t answer the door. Henry was very upset, wailing all the way home. He cheered up the next time we went as they answered and swapped the biscuits for a handmade, knitted Humpty Dumpty!
