Henry visited Shibden Park with his childminder today, playing on the wooden train, feeding the ducks and playing in the park. He kept falling over on the wooden planks as his wellies didn’t quite agree with them! They had a picnic for lunch and then had a walk. They used the ball thrower to throw balls up the hill for the children to chase – Henry was so pleased when he managed to get to one before the others, even though he is the youngest one.

He fell asleep on the way back home then had a disco, complete with disco lights. Before coming home, one of the older children read him some books when she got back from school.

In the evening, Henry helped mummy practice her baritone before she plays The Last Post for the pupils at her school tomorrow. We also rang Grandpa Eric as it was his birthday.
