Henry woke in a good mood and after a crumpet for breakfast, he played with his trains and jigsaws. After daddy had finished watching the Grand Prix, we set off for an adventure at Oakwell Hall. Henry did such a lot of walking, up to the fern sculpture, then down to the stream and up to the hall, past the café and back through the woods to the playground. He was exhausted, but didn’t want to get back in his pram! He played for a long time in the playground, looking like a bog monster with all the mud he was covered in. We ended our visit with a couple of turns on the big slide in the wood then came home for a drink and snack. Henry was still busy when we came home, colouring and dancing. Before tea we watched Zog – Henry did lots of roaring at the TV. He was very cute. With no nap again today, Henry had an early bedtime.
