Henry didn’t want to lie-in this morning and was awake bright and early. After breakfast, we got in the car and went to see Santa at Tong Garden Centre. Henry didn’t like waiting in the queue, but was very excited to see all the displays of animals on the walk through the magical Winter Forest. We had our very own elf called Tinsel to show us around. When Henry saw Santa, he went very quiet and answered, ‘Yes,’ to all his questions! He did say ‘ta’ though when Santa said he could choose a toy from his workshop to take home. He chose a doctor’s set and had great fun with it at home.
Grandpa David came to visit in the afternoon so he could hear all about Henry’s special trip. Henry didn’t have a nap, so went up for an early bath, had a story and was asleep in minutes.
