Friday, 25th December 2020: Twenty-three months old, One hundred weeks old, 700 days old & Christmas Day

Henry woke up this morning to find a cuddly snowman and a letter from Santa in his bed! He went straight over to his Santa plate when we came downstairs and was very excited to see that the carrot had a bit missing!

We had breakfast and Grandpa David arrived. Henry wasn’t really interested in opening any of his presents, preferring to play with toys instead. Grandpa Eric arrived and persuaded Henry to open one of his presents – it was a toy ambulance which he didn’t let go of for ages! He enjoyed his Christmas dinner but wouldn’t wear a party hat. He had worn a Santa hat though when we took some choux buns round to our neighbours though.

He was encouraged to nap after saying goodbye to Grandpa David and then opened a couple of presents when he woke up. He was very pleased to get a Stick man toy, book and pyjamas – it took a long time for him to settle to sleep tonight.
