Henry was very excited to see the snow this morning – he got all togged up before breakfast and we went to the park to play. He enjoyed wiping the snow off the top of the climbing frame and cleared the slide by coming down it! We came home for breakfast and warmed up by eating some toast.
When the snow cleared, mummy took Henry on a train from Brighouse to Mirfield. He loved looking out of the window and was very sensible getting on and off the train. We had a picnic in Mirfield before getting the train back. He fell asleep in the car so mummy sat with him until he woke up.
Back in the house, we had a look at a colour matching game that Henry got for Christmas and had lasagne for tea. Henry said it was “hot” – as everything is at the moment! Once again it was 9:30 pm before he was asleep…
