Henry didn’t sleep well and woke up crying up at 2am. Daddy ended up sleeping in with him. After breakfast, we set off to Oakwell to have a walk in the woods and visit the playground. Henry had fun on the slides – they were very fast as they were frosty. He collected 25 new sticks and added them to his collection when we got home.
Back inside, he got all his instruments out and treated us to a concert, moving from one instrument to another. Later on, he played with his doctor’s set and picked up the phone saying one of his friend’s names. Mummy had to pretend to phone her and Henry was very pleased about that! Our friends came round to drop off Henry’s birthday present bringing their dog with them which was exciting. Henry fell asleep in his tea, but woke up enough for a bath and stories before bed.
