Week 108: Friday, 19th to Thursday, 25th February 2021

Henry was a sleepyhead this week on Friday morning, not wanting to get up until he knew that Grandpa David was here for breakfast. He continued his shop keeping duties but also played with his cars and garage. We went to Harold Park for a socially distanced meet up with Henry’s friend Sam and his mum, who had just started walking – so Henry could demonstrate his next steps towards climbing and running!

On Saturday, we ventured to Saltaire to find some geocaches and explore Roberts Park. Henry had fun in the playground, going on the slide and throwing sand around. He also loved running around and around the bandstand and trying to climb over the railings. He also loved the alpaca statues in the park. Sunday involved lots of craft activities and housework, helping daddy to vacuum.

Back at the child minder’s in the week, Henry did some painting, flicking it all over, playing in a large delivery box with other children, being noisy with pan lids (as always), reading stories and visiting lots of local parks. Henry impressed his friends by telling them all the names of the animals they were playing with and making some lovely animal noises. They also made bird feeders this week!
