Henry woke up early this morning, so mummy kept him occupied until it was time to get up. We went for a walk around Birkenshaw to see the scarecrows in their Scarecrow Festival. Henry enjoyed seeing some of them but got a bit restless. We found a playground, but it wasn’t really suitable for him as it was mainly climbing equipment. We made the most of it though and found some sticks to play with! We carried on looking at the scarecrows and saw 31 in total today – we still have a lot to see, so will go back later in the week.
Henry played with his toys after lunch and made a great mess as usual. Mummy got some craft things sorted and he made a picture by sticking photos of flowers into his art book. He got upset when we wouldn’t let him eat the glue, however.
As usual, Henry fed the fish in the pond and ate peas in the garden. In the bath this evening, he thought it was very funny to pour water all over daddy. Daddy wasn’t amused…
